Nuke The Whales #1

Nuke The Whales is a black and white zine covering Midwest punk, hardcore and metal.

Issue #1 is 44 pages of interviews, photos, reviews and history. In this issue we talk to Snuffed (IL), Sock 'Em (IL), Squint (MO). Don Bastard of Bastard Squad has a piece on the St Louis scene and DJ Jelinek has a piece on concert photography. There are some album reviews by Joseph Copley and some retro reviews by Christopher Yeager. Ricki Marvel has a history piece about the Springfield scene in the early 2000s and some photos to go with it  - plus some bonus photos of NIL8's Hobgoblin Spookadelic in 2003. There are also recent show photos and a few illustrations sprinkled throughout.
